Perfectly positioned in Melbourne’s Kooyong/Toorak area, Carlisle is a gracious Federation house with a large English style garden, offering luxury bed and breakfast accommodation and delicious home cooked breakfasts. Carlisle provides two main double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, the other with a separate adjacent private bathroom. An additional twin room is also available. The rooms at Carlisle are light-filled and airy, with beautiful views to the garden. Guests can enjoy a quiet read in large, comfortable sofas. On colder evenings, an open fire in the sitting room adds to the ambience and your enjoyment. Guests can watch television, listen to music or watch a movie. The spacious sitting room, for the use of guests, makes it easy to host your Melbourne friends in comfort and privacy, just as you would at home. Tea and coffee making facilities, sweet treats and a small drinks fridge are provided for guests to help themselves. A writing desk with telephone is set in a quiet window lit alcove and may be used for business or personal paperwork. Carlisle is still Anne’s family home, and reflects her warmth and welcome. Extensive international travelling and personal entertaining over many years provide Anne with exceptional credentials. Carlisle is very conveniently located for public transport to all Melbourne’s major attractions. Local restaurants include Koots, France Soir and Da Noi. A five minute walk will have you at the famous Kooyong Tennis courts, the original home of the Australian Open.
